Corporate Partnership Award from the Garden State Employment and Training Association
Ravitz Family Markets piloted a successful workplace literacy program that gives individuals the guidance and skills training needed for employment when they are unable to pass the assessment test. That’s just one of the reasons the company was honored with the Corporate Partnership Award from the Garden State Employment and Training Association. The prestigious award recognizes businesses throughout New Jersey that have a positive impact on the workforce.
Owner Steve Ravitz and Senior Director of Labor Relations Ken Brahl were cited as exemplary community leaders and driving forces on the Camden County’s Workforce Investment Board Literacy Committee. The Company was also recognized for its participation in Hire-One, a project that encourages local employers to hire a veteran, an individual with a disability or someone previously incarcerated.
