Senior Director of Labor Relations
In 1992, Ken joined Ravitz Family Markets from Wakefern Food Corporation where he oversaw security for 12 stores. He joined Ravitz Family Markets as the Security Director and later transitioned to a human resources role. Ken now oversees Human Resources and Labor Relations for our 1100 person company. He considers the company’s strong relationship with its unions to be among his most notable accomplishments.
In the community, Ken is the Chairman for the Camden County’s Workforce Development Board’s Literacy Committeeand a member of the Executive Committee. Ken also helped create the HireOne Program, which received an award from New Jersey’s State Employment and Training Commission for encouraging employers to hire a veteran, a person with special needs, or a person who was previously incarcerated. He also started a referral program to Camden County’s One-Stop Career Center that helps workers to achieve the basic math and reading skills necessary for employment. Ken was served on Palmyra Borough Council as a councilman and served as Council President for 4 years. Ken will be graduating in the spring with his bachelors in Human Resources Management from Wilmington University and will be starting graduate school in the fall.
In his spare time, Ken enjoys going to school, riding in his jeep and spending time at the Jersey Shore. He lives in Medford with his wife.
