Dan Poussart

Operations Director

Dan joined the company in 2014 and began his career as a Part-Time Clerk at the ShopRite of Evesham Road. He quickly moved into the role of Overnight Trainer, where he created an onboarding program for new hires. In 2017, Dan joined the main office staff as the HR Administrator, where he managed employee healthcare benefits, risk management, and customer experience. In 2022, Dan was promoted to HR Manager at the Mt. Laurel ShopRite and later to the company’s Operations Manager for Receiving, Quality Assurance and Safety. In 2025 he was promoted to the position of Store Director and in 2026 he was promoted to the position of Operations Director responsible for areas such as Order, Pickup Delivery and Front End.

Dan’s passion for learning and development began with his bachelor’s degree in education from New York University. In 2020, Dan earned his master’s certificate in HR Management from Colorado State University and became a Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management. Dan’s key accomplishments at Ravitz Family Markets include receiving the Jerry Yaguda Organizational Safety and Stanley Ravitz Exceptional Educational Achievement Awards in 2021, as well as the Joseph H. Johnson Exceptional Community and Employment Service Scholarship in 2022. Dan is also personally responsible for the creation of the company’s paperless filing system, helping Ravitz Family Markets to achieve their goals in sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and seeing Broadway shows with his wife, as well as trying new restaurants and cooking new recipes together.
